What You’ll Be Doing

As a key member of the engineering team, you’ll be responsible for developing and optimising CNC programmes for complex components, ensuring maximum efficiency, quality and performance.

Your responsibilities will include:
*Programming complex 5-axis machined components
*Creating and optimising programmes using CAD/CAM software, ideally OPENMIND/HYPERMILL
*Producing CAD models to support manufacturing processes
*Designing tooling, jigs and fixtures to improve productivity
*Managing CNC programme distribution through DNC systems
*Driving continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
*Supporting new product introduction (NPI) projects
What We’re Looking For

Essential
*Proven experience programming 5 Axis CNC machines
*Strong CAD/CAM programming experience
*Experience machining a range of hard and soft metals
*Offline programming experience for 3 and 5 axis machines
*Good understanding of quality standards and production processes
*A proactive, problem-solving mindset
Desirable
*Experience with OPENMIND/HYPERMILL
*CNC mill-turn experience
*Background in aerospace, nuclear, medical, automotive or motorsport sectors
*Knowledge of AS9100 or EASA Part 21(G) standards
*Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
*Exposure to automation, robotics, or additive manufacturing
