About the Role
Hanson Education Recruitment is seeking an organised and personable Education Recruitment
Coordinator to join the team on a 12 month fixed-term contract starting on 3 August 2026. This is a
candidate-focused role responsible for attracting, interviewing, registering, vetting, and supporting
teachers, teaching assistants, and support staff seeking work in local schools. You will play a key
role in building and maintaining our candidate network, ensuring candidates receive an excellent
experience throughout the recruitment process. Unlike a traditional recruitment consultant role, this
position is focused primarily on candidate management rather than business development or sales
to schools.


Key Responsibilities
• Respond to applications from teachers, teaching assistants, and support staff.
• Conduct candidate screening calls and interviews.
• Arrange and conduct face-to-face and online registration meetings.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with candidates.
• Source and attract new candidates through job boards, referrals, social media, and networking.
• Create and manage job advertisements.
• Guide candidates through the registration process.
• Collect and verify right-to-work documentation, qualifications, references, DBS information, and
safeguarding checks.
• Ensure all compliance and vetting requirements are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Create candidate profiles and marketing materials.
• Promote suitable candidates to schools through targeted marketing campaigns.
• Accurately update and maintain candidate information within the CRM system.
• Record all candidate interactions, documentation, notes, and availability.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding and safer recruitment practices.


Person Specification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships.
• Comfortable conducting meetings both in person and online.
• Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Recruitment, education, or customer service experience desirable but not essential
