About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Private Client Solicitor to join our established and growing Private Client team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with ideally 5 years’ PQE or above who is looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and client-focused environment.
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of private client matters and play an active role in maintaining and developing strong client relationships.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe role will involve advising clients on a broad range of private client matters, including:
*Drafting Wills and advising on estate planning.
*Preparation and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney.
*Administration of estates, including taxable and non-taxable estates.
*Probate applications and estate administration.
*Trust creation, administration, and taxation.
*Court of Protection matters.
*Inheritance Tax planning and related advice.
*Advising high-net-worth individuals and families on succession planning.
*Maintaining excellent client care standards and building long-term client relationships.
*Supporting business development and networking initiatives.
Candidate RequirementsEssential*Qualified Solicitor with ideally 5 years’ PQE or more in Private Client work.
*Strong technical knowledge across wills, probate, trusts, powers of attorney, and estate planning.
*Ability to manage a varied caseload independently.
*Excellent client care and communication skills.
*Strong organisational and time management abilities.
*Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client relationship management.
Desirable*STEP qualification or working towards STEP accreditation.
*Experience dealing with high-value estates and trusts.
*Established professional contacts and referral networks.
