*Salary: £28,600 per annum
Join a leading name in waste and recycling. Are you someone who enjoys working independently, being on the road, and staying active? We are looking for a Driver & Loader to join our growing team. You will be equipped with a modern company van, which you can take home, along with all necessary tools including a fuel card, PPE, mobile phone, and equipment to perform your duties safely and professionally.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Deliver outstanding customer service on every job.
*Drive, maintain, and keep your vehicle clean and presentable.
*Lift and load various waste streams into company vehicles.
*Use a handheld PDA to receive jobs and complete digital worksheets.
*Communicate clearly with the office team and provide accurate updates.
*Complete daily vehicle walk-around checks and report any defects promptly.
*You will receive comprehensive in-house training and ongoing support to ensure your success in the role.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Valid UK driving licence with no major endorsements.
*Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
*Reliable and self-motivated, comfortable with physical work.
*Must have a safe place to park the company vehicle overnight.
*Previous driving or waste industry experience is preferred but not essential. The right attitude and willingness to learn are most important.
