About the Role
This is a key position responsible for shaping and delivering the organisation’s recruitment and talent development agenda across the UK. You will play a central role in attracting and developing talent, strengthening succession plans, and supporting a high-performance culture. Working closely with senior stakeholders across different business areas, you will help align people initiatives with evolving commercial priorities.
Key Responsibilities
*Partner with senior HR leadership to deliver the UK people strategy
*Lead initiatives across talent acquisition, development, and leadership capability
*Work collaboratively with HR colleagues to implement people and development programmes
*Support diversity and inclusion initiatives, fostering an engaged and inclusive culture
*Build and maintain talent pipelines to meet current and future business needs
*Encourage internal progression through structured development planning
*Oversee training activity, including leadership development programmes
*Act as the main contact for apprenticeship and early careers initiatives
*Enhance employer branding to attract high-quality candidates
*Ensure consistent and structured interview and selection processes
Leadership & Approach
*Commercially minded, with an understanding of fast-paced operational environments
*Strong relationship builder, able to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
*Collaborative and approachable leadership style
Compliance & Governance
*Ensure alignment with UK employment legislation and data protection requirements
*Contribute to ongoing improvements in HR data, reporting, and performance metrics
Experience & Skills
*Proven experience in, talent development, and succession planning (5+ years)
*Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
*Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills including recruitment partnerships
*Experience working across multi-site or multi-division organisations is advantageous
Qualifications
*CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience)
