West Yorkshire Local Authority
£280 per day | Fully remote | 3-6 month initial contract
A Local Authority in West Yorkshire is currently seeking an experienced EHC Assessment and Review Officer to join their SEND service on an interim basis.
This is a fully remote role offering a strong daily rate and the opportunity to contribute to high-quality statutory SEND practice within a busy and supportive team.
Role Overview:The role involves a combination of EHCP plan writing, amendments, and casework, alongside regular engagement with families, schools, and multi-agency partners. Strong relational practice is essential.
Key Responsibilities:*Writing and amending Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
*Supporting casework across assessments and annual reviews
*Working closely with families, schools, and partner agencies
*Ensuring high-quality, person-centred outcomes for children and young people
Requirements:*Strong SEND casework experience within a Local Authority
*Confident understanding of EHCP processes and statutory requirements
*Ability to manage relationships across education and family settings
*Strong communication and organisational skills
