Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:45pm (45-minute lunch break)
About the Role
We are currently seeking a hands-on and reliable Production Operative / Assembly Technician to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing or engineering environments looking to secure a long-term position with the potential to become permanent.
You will be responsible for a variety of production and assembly tasks, contributing to the manufacture and finishing of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
*Carry out product finishing tasks, including brass polishing, bronzing, and spray painting
*Perform electrical assembly work to required standards
*Operate machinery such as lathes, drills, and hand tools
*Undertake bonding processes, including welding and soldering
*Ensure all work is completed accurately, safely, and in line with company procedures
*Maintain a clean and organised work area
Requirements
*Previous experience in a similar manufacturing, engineering, or production role is essential
*Ability to use a variety of tools and machinery confidently
*Experience with finishing techniques and bonding processes is highly desirable
*Strong attention to detail and quality
*Good practical skills and a proactive approach to work
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team
