Electro Mechanical Assembler
Salary - £27K-£30K plus many excellent benefits including, pension, bonus, health insurance, medical, life insurance to name but a few.
Location – Woking, Surrey
The role – you will be working in Assembly; this position works closely with the Production Engineering and Quality departments to assemble mechanical and electro/mechanical assemblies from drawings and/or procedures.
Skills & Experience required for this role:
• Minimum of 2 years assembling mechanical and/or electromechanical sub-assemblies and products
• Able to work with minimal supervision, but be team orientated
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings desirable but not essential
Job role responsibilities:
You will be working within a cross-trained team of experienced technical assembly staff this role will involve.
• Assembly of mechanical and electro/mechanical assemblies from drawings and / or procedures using equipment including hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and assembly fixtures safely and correctly.
• Testing and inspection of assemblies via procedures, jigs and fixtures
• General assembly work to meet monthly targets
• Could involve working within a dust free, clean room environment
• Support training of new team members when required
• Supports wider operational activities when required
• Follow company quality standards, ISO procedures, and ESD control
• Ensure all work meets engineering specifications and customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area in line with 5S principles
• Adhere to health & safety requirements, including safe handling of electrical components and tools.
