An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Management Accountant to join a growing and ambitious Group of Companies with its Head Office based in Blackpool.
This is an excellent role for an experienced Qualified Management Accountant who enjoys working in a fast-paced commercial environment and wants to play a key role in supporting business growth. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will be responsible for supporting the month-end close process, producing accurate financial information, and helping to lead a small finance team.
As a Management Accountant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, providing meaningful financial insight and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
*Support the Financial Controller with the monthly management accounts and month-end close process
*Prepare accurate and timely management reporting across the Group
*Deliver detailed variance analysis and financial commentary
*Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
*Support year-end audit activities and statutory reporting requirements
*Ensure robust financial controls and procedures are maintained
*Supervise, mentor, and support the development of a small finance team
*Partner with operational managers to provide commercial and financial insight
*Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies
About You:
*Fully qualified ACCA, CIMA, or ACA Accountant
*Previous experience working as a Management Accountant within a commercial organisation
*Strong management accounting, reporting, and analytical skills
*Experience supporting or supervising finance team members
*Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across the business
*Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
