Full job description Job Opportunity: Kitchen Assistants - STAINDROP, DARLINGTON (Agency Work)
Berry Recruitment Darlington is currently registering agency Kitchen assistants and Cleaners to cover temporary roles within schools in Staindrop.
These roles are as-required, ideal for candidates looking to top up their regular hours or seeking flexible part-time work.
Working Hours:
Typically 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM or 3:00PM - 5.30PM, depending on the school’s requirements.


? Duties Include:
*Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas
*Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting
*Cleaning toilets and replenishing supplies
*Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely
*Sanitising touch points and high-traffic areas
*Cleaning windows, doors, and furniture
*Following cleaning schedules and procedures
*Reporting maintenance issues or health and safety concerns
Requirements:
*Previous cleaning experience preferred
*Driving licence and own transport preferred but not essential
*Must hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service (£18/year)
- or be willing to pay £59.50 for a new Enhanced DBS
*Completion of online training:*Safeguarding
*Keeping Children Safe in Education

Pay Rate:
£12.71 per hour, paid weekly in arrears via Berry Recruitment
