Job Description:
Full job descriptionOpportunity for a Commercial Real Estate Associate or Senior Associate to join a leading London law firm with a Legal 500 ranked Real Estate practice.
The firm
My client is a highly regarded London-based firm with a standout reputation in the real estate and private wealth sectors.
Their client base reflects this strength, acting for a broad mix of institutional investors, property companies, developers, high-net-worth individuals, and entrepreneurs.
With one of the largest dedicated real estate teams in the market, the firm is known for delivering high-quality, partner-led advice across the full real estate lifecycle.
The firm is particularly well-regarded for combining City-quality work with a genuinely supportive culture and strong work-life balance, making it a compelling alternative to traditional City practices.
The opportunity
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with highly regarded partners, supporting key client relationships and playing a central role in delivering complex transactions.
The new hire will gain exposure to a diverse client base, including UK and international asset managers, developers, and major occupiers across sectors such as retail, office, industrial, media, and professional services.
The workload includes a mix of asset management, investment, and occupier work, including headquarters relocations, leasing strategies, and portfolio management, as well as collaboration with construction, tax, and planning specialists on more complex projects.
The role will involve:
*Advising on acquisitions, disposals, and asset management for high-value real estate assets
*Acting on landlord and tenant matters, including complex leasing arrangements and portfolio management
*Supporting development and investment transactions, including agreements for lease and financing elements
* Working closely with corporate occupiers on leasing, relocations, regears, and disposals
Required
*UK qualified lawyer with 2 - 7 years’ PQE
*Experience gained at a leading City firm
* Strong technical grounding in commercial real estate, particularly landlord & tenant and transactional work
Reasons to apply
*High-quality, City-level work with a more balanced and collaborative culture
*Opportunity to work closely with leading partners and develop strong client relationships
*Broad and varied workload across investment, development, and occupier matters
*Clear progression opportunities within a large and well-established real estate team
*Supportive environment with a genuine focus on professional development and wellbeing
To apply, contact Emily Donnell at Birchrose Associates for a confidential discussion.
