We are working with a long standing award-winning, multi-disciplinary construction consultancy. They deal in Civil and Structural Engineering, Geo-Environmental works, development planning and land & Building Surveying.
Their diverse portfolio includes multi-storey residential blocks, new housing schemes, schools and commercial developments ranging from small individual projects up to multi-million-pound schemes.
The role:
*Support design of civil engineering schemes from initial concept to detailed design. This includes designs of roads, drainage, earthworks, and other infrastructure elements.
*Prepare calculations and reports
*Assist in managing technical aspects of a project
*Liasing with clients, contractors and other stakeholders
*Conduct site visits to monitor progress and conduct surveys to inform design
The perfect candidate will have between 1 to 5 years’ of engineering experience and will have worked for a consultancy developing relevant projects.
Requirements:
*Relevant Degree or HND qualified (or equivalent)
*Knowledge of S38, S104, S185, and S98 Drainage Approvals
*Experience with some of the following: AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroDrainage and PDS
*Knowledge of SuDS
*Willingness to learn
Benefits:
*Salary – £30,000 - £35,000 (Depending on experience)
*25 Days of annual leave + Bank holidays, pro-rata for part time workers
