High-Growth Food & FMCG SME
£35–45k + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits
Hampshire (Office-Based with Field Travel)
Our client:
*Established SME FMCG business with c.20 years trading history, now operating as a modern, growth-focused brand builder and distributor
*Works across a mix of owned brands, licensed partnerships and creator-led products, bringing new concepts to market quickly
*Strong presence across grocery, wholesale, convenience and foodservice channels
* Entrepreneurial culture – agile, collaborative and commercially focused, with minimal hierarchy and a clear growth agenda


The role:
*The Business Development Manager will focus on driving new business and increasing distribution across wholesale, convenience and food service.
*As a Business Development Manager, you will target cash & carry, symbol groups and independent retail to expand market reach
*The Business Development Manager will manage a mix of new business and warm opportunities, build relationships and converting new accounts
*Work closely with a collaborative commercial team, including exposure to NPD, allowing input into product and customer strategy
*Role reports into the Head of Sales, with good visibility across a growing commercial function


Ideal candidate:
*Experience in a sales or commercially focused role within FMCG or a related customer-facing environment
*Exposure to wholesale, convenience, independents or foodservice would be advantageous
*A Business Development Manager mindset – proactive, resilient and motivated by winning new business
*Strong relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage customers and develop opportunities
*Ambitious and keen to grow within an SME environment, where attitude and drive are valued as highly as experience
