Full job descriptionAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to work for this successful, dynamic company in Newcastle. You will manage the finance team and your duties will be as follows:
*Responsible for financial strategy and leading the finance team
*Production of monthly management accounts, with full commentary
*KPI monitoring and departmental performance management
*Leading budgeting and financial planning
*Preparation of the annuals budgets and liaising with department heads
*Responsible for cashflow forecasting, variance analysis and profit and loss
*Reviewing accruals, prepayments, deferred income and bad debt provision
*Processing monthly payroll, and managing purchase and sales ledgers
*Annual audit preparation and liaising with the audit team
*Improving financial processes and controls
A qualified Accountant, you will be a key member of the senior management team and be highly invested in driving the business forward. Strong IT skills are imperative.
