Veritas Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Kirklees to recruit a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner to join a supportive department committed to delivering high-quality physical education and promoting student wellbeing.
The RoleAs a PE Teacher, you will:
*Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 advantageous)
*Plan and assess in line with the national curriculum and school expectations
*Support students in developing physical, social and emotional skills
*Contribute to extracurricular sport and enrichment activities
*Work collaboratively within a well-established department
The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for a candidate who:
*Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Has experience teaching PE within a UK secondary school setting
*Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills
*Is committed to raising attainment and promoting a love of physical education
*Has a proactive and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
