Commercial Conveyancing Solicitor / Fee Earner
Location: Liverpool
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9 am–5 pm (1-hour lunch)
Salary: Dependent on experience
Job Type: Permanent
A Liverpool firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor or Fee Earner to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong commercial conveyancing experience who is looking to take ownership of a varied caseload within a supportive practice.
The Role
You will manage a broad range of commercial conveyancing matters, including:
*Providing quotations and opening new files
*Advising clients on anticipated costs (stamp duty, legal fees, etc.)
*Liaising with all parties involved in the transaction
*Conducting searches and reviewing results
*Drafting and reviewing contracts, transfer deeds, leases, legal charges, deeds of easement, licences to assign, discharge deeds, rent deposit deeds, deeds of variation, planning agreements, debentures, personal guarantees, title splits and more
*Liaising with mortgage lenders
*Preparing reports on titles for clients and lenders
*Preparing financial statements
*Completing SDLT/LTT forms
*Handling all post-completion requirements
*Managing all aspects of commercial property transactions from instruction to completion
There is also scope for the right candidate to build a client following and generate new work.
About You
*Ideally, 18 months+ recent experience in commercial conveyancing
*Confident in managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Highly organised, proactive, and able to work to deadlines
*Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
