This is a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Ecology looking to take ownership of a growing team and play a key role in shaping the future direction of ecological services. The successful Head of Ecology will oversee project delivery, support business development and provide technical leadership across a diverse project portfolio. Based near Cambridge, this role offers significant scope for professional influence and career progression.

The role:
*Lead and manage the ecology team
* Oversee ecological surveys, assessments and reporting
* Provide technical expertise and quality assurance
* Develop and maintain client relationships
* Support business growth and tender submissions
* Mentor and develop ecologists across the team
* Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Requirements:
*Significant consultancy experience, ideally at Head of Ecology level
* Strong knowledge of UK ecological legislation and planning policy
* Proven leadership and team management experience
* Excellent project management and report writing skills
* Experience managing client relationships and project delivery
* Full UK driving licence
* Full right to work in the UK
* Must live in or near the Cambridge office location
* Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related discipline
