Full job descriptionOperations Manager – Supportive Oncology
Location: Manchester (Hybrid options available)
Contract: 3 months initially
Venn Group are supporting an NHS organisation in the North West to recruit an Operations Manager for Supportive Oncology. This is a key leadership role within a specialist cancer service, responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-focused care across supportive and palliative oncology pathways.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead the day-to-day operational management of supportive oncology services, ensuring delivery against performance targets and quality standards
*Drive service improvement and transformation, enhancing patient pathways and outcomes
*Oversee performance monitoring, implementing recovery plans where required
*Manage budgets, workforce and resources effectively to ensure service efficiency
*Provide leadership to multi-disciplinary teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and patient-centered care
*Support delivery of cancer access standards and operational objectives
*Lead on governance, including incidents, complaints and quality improvement initiatives
*Work closely with senior clinicians and stakeholders to ensure integrated service delivery
