Salary: £40,000–£50,000 Basic + £60,000–£70,000 OTE
The OpportunityWe are currently seeking an experienced and driven General Sales Manager to join a successful automotive dealership in West Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven sales leader to take responsibility for the performance of a busy sales department, driving profitability, customer satisfaction, and team development.
Key Responsibilities*Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
*Drive new and used vehicle sales performance.
*Manage departmental KPIs, profitability, and stock levels.
*Ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales journey.
*Monitor and improve sales processes and compliance standards.
*Work closely with the senior leadership team to deliver business objectives.
*Recruit, coach, and mentor team members to maximise performance.
*Maintain strong relationships with manufacturer and finance partners.
Requirements*Previous experience as a General Sales Manager, Sales Manager, or senior automotive sales professional.
*Strong leadership and team management skills.
*Proven track record of delivering sales growth and profitability.
*Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
*Ability to analyse performance data and implement effective strategies.
*Full UK driving licence.
