Job Description:
Full job descriptionIf you’re an experienced Credit Controller who enjoys taking real ownership, influencing decisions, and working closely with teams across a business, this role could be a great next step. You’ll join an internationally trading organisation where you’ll play a key part in managing credit risk, supporting cash flow, and keeping customer accounts running smoothly.
You’ll work closely with Sales, Operations, and Finance, acting as the go-to person for all things credit, risk, and customer terms. This is a role where your judgement, communication skills, and attention to detail will really make an impact.
What you’ll be doing:
• Managing the full credit control function and advising on credit, risk, and payment terms
• Assessing customer creditworthiness and recommending appropriate limits
• Reviewing and validating Letters of Credit and advising on alternative payment methods
• Monitoring customer accounts to ensure they stay within agreed limits
• Proactively collecting overdue payments and resolving issues quickly
• Raising accurate sales invoices and allocating customer payments
• Supporting cash flow forecasting and wider finance activities
What you’ll bring:
• Strong experience as a Credit Controller
• Confidence advising senior stakeholders and influencing decisions
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Solid IT skills, including Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
