Finance Assistant / Finance TechnicianLocation: Knowsley, Liverpool
Salary: £30-£35,000
Type: Full-time, Permanent, hybrid working


The OpportunityAn established and growing organisation within the manufacturing sector is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finance Assistant / Finance Technician to join its finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to take ownership of core finance processes while supporting wider business operations.


Key Responsibilities:
*Support the Finance Manager with - *Month-end processes
*Cashflow forecasting
*Annual budgeting

*Assist with external audits
*Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
*Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
*Carry out credit control activities and maintain strong customer relationships
*Perform bank reconciliations and oversee petty cash
*Reconcile stock ledger with the general ledger
*Produce and manage VAT returns, Intrastat, EC sales reports, and excise duties
*Maintain accruals and prepayments
*Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules
*Review and process monthly expenses
About You*AAT qualified (or equivalent)
*Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar finance role
*Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is highly desirable
