Full job description Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Reception Class
Tower Hamlets | Immediate Start | Until 17th July 2026
Daily Pay £95
SANZA Teaching Agency is working with a wonderful primary school in Tower Hamlets to recruit a caring and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join their Reception team from 22nd June until 17th July 2026.
Located within easy walking distance of Mile End Station, this lovely school is known for its warm atmosphere, supportive staff and happy children. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or Early Years Practitioner looking for a rewarding short-term role within a thriving Reception setting.
The Role
Working within a Reception class, your day will be split between:
Morning: Supporting the class teacher as a general Teaching Assistant, helping children access learning through play, exploration and structured activities.
Afternoon: Providing focused support to two children on a 1:2 basis, helping them engage with learning and develop their confidence within the classroom environment.
This varied role would suit someone who enjoys building positive relationships with young children and is passionate about supporting their early development.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience working within EYFS, Nursery or Reception
A nurturing and patient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Confidence supporting children with a range of learning needs
Ability to engage children through play-based learning and classroom activities
A positive and proactive attitude
