Full job descriptionIT Support Engineer (2nd line) – Hybrid
Salary: Up to £35,000 plus benefits
Permanent
Location: Telford, TF3
Occasional travel to other UK sites
A great opportunity for a proactive, self-sufficient 2nd line IT Support Engineer to join a growing team in Telford. You’ll handle day-to-day support, networking tasks and project work, with the opportunity to work from home and the office
IT Support Engineer (2nd Line) Role
*2nd line support across hardware, software and connectivity issues
*General networking: switches, VPNs, routing basics
*Regular maintenance, updates and user administration
*Troubleshooting and resolving escalations quickly
*Supporting IT projects and continuous improvement
*Occasional travel to additional sites
IT Support Engineer (2nd line) profile
*Solid 2nd line capability in a busy environment
*Strong troubleshooting skills
*Good networking knowledge (switches, VPNs)
*Confident managing users and permissions
*Proactive, organised and able to work independently
