You will be joining a dynamic and nurturing secondary alternative provision committed to giving every young person a fresh start and the support they need to thrive. The environment is fast-paced, people-centred, and built on strong communication, consistency, and calm professionalism. They work with students who may display challenging behaviour at times, and they pride themselves on maintaining a safe, structured, and respectful atmosphere for all.
Your new role
Starting August 2026, you will become a full-time School Administrator who is central to the smooth running of our provision. You will be required to attend:
*A trial day/meeting before your start date
*A full induction day prior to 24th August
In this role, you will:
*Manage front-of-house communication with professionalism and confidence
*Support staff, students, and parents with clarity and empathy
*Handle sensitive situations with discretion and resilience
*Multi-task across admin, safeguarding processes, attendance, and daily operational needs
*Work proactively, using your own initiative without needing constant direction
Only candidates who can match this level of capability, pace, and independence will be considered.
What you’ll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will need:
*Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal
*Previous school administration experience, ideally within a similar setting
*Confidence working with challenging students and parents
*A fast-learning mindset with the ability to adapt quickly
*Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise under pressure
*Emotional resilience, professionalism, and a calm approach
*A proactive attitude - someone who sees what needs doing and gets it done
Previous school admin experience is essential.
