We are currently recruiting for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join a busy NHS hospital team through our agency. This is a fantastic opportunity for a clinical pharmacist looking for a rewarding locum role with competitive rates and flexible working arrangements.
The Role
You will provide ward-based clinical pharmacy services across a variety of inpatient wards, supporting multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective medicines management.
Key Responsibilities
*Clinical screening of inpatient prescriptions
*Medicines reconciliation on admission and discharge
*Supporting ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings
*Providing clinical advice to medical and nursing staff
*Ensuring safe and effective use of medicines
*Supporting discharge planning and patient counselling
Requirements
*Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
*Previous NHS hospital ward experience essential
*Strong clinical and communication skills
*Ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment
*Electronic prescribing system experience desirable
