Full job descriptionM4 Recruitment are recruiting experienced Class 1 Trunk Driver on behalf of our client, a leading national distribution company based in the Dunstable area.

What We Offer
Excellent pay rates from £21.28 to £25.88 per hour, a fixed four-day working week, a Friday to Monday shift pattern, ongoing regular work, trunking and depot-to-depot deliveries, minimal manual handling, a modern and well-maintained fleet, and the support of a professional transport team.
The Role
The role involves completing trunking runs between distribution centres and regional depots, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time. Drivers will be responsible for carrying out daily vehicle checks, reporting any defects, complying with Drivers’ Hours, Tachograph, and Working Time regulations, and completing all relevant paperwork accurately.
Driver Requirements
Applicants must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence with a minimum of 2 years’ experience, Driver CPC Qualification Card, and Digital Tachograph Card. Candidates should have no more than 6 penalty points for minor offences, possess a good knowledge of UK road networks and driving regulations, and demonstrate a professional, reliable, and safety-conscious approach at all times.
