Reporting directly to an experienced Head of Finance, you’ll join a finance team where people are encouraged to ask questions, understand the wider business, and contribute ideas. What You’ll Be Doing
*Preparation of monthly management accounts
*Month-end close activities including journals, accruals and prepayments
*Balance sheet reconciliations
*Variance analysis and commentary for senior management
*Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
*Working closely with operational teams to understand business performance
*Analysing margins, profitability and commercial performance
*Supporting stock accounting, stock reconciliations and inventory reporting
*Investigating stock variances and helping improve stock controls
*Producing KPI reporting and business performance analysis
*Assisting with year-end audit requirements
*Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting


What They’re Looking For
*Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar role
*Experience producing management accounts and month-end reporting
*Exposure to stock accounting or inventory-heavy environments would be advantageous
*Strong analytical skills with a commercial mindset
*Someone who enjoys getting into the detail and understanding what’s behind the numbers
*Confident communicating with stakeholders outside of finance
*Positive attitude and willingness to learn
