About the RoleWe are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Paralegal to join our legal team in Hartlepool.
This is an excellent opportunity for a law graduate or an individual with previous legal experience who is looking to develop their career within a professional and supportive environment. The successful candidate will provide assistance to solicitors and fee earners across a range of legal matters, helping to ensure the smooth progression of client files and delivery of excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities*Assisting solicitors and fee earners with the day-to-day management of client matters.
*Preparing legal documents and correspondence.
*Opening, maintaining and closing client files.
*Liaising with clients, courts, barristers and third parties.
*Conducting legal research as required.
*Managing diaries, appointments and key deadlines.
*Preparing documents and bundles for meetings and hearings.
*Ensuring accurate record keeping and compliance with firm procedures.
*Providing general administrative support to the legal team.
About You*Law degree or relevant legal experience preferred.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Strong organisational and time management abilities.
*High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
*Professional and client-focused approach.
*Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
*Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
