Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities
*Manage a caseload of children’s social care legal matters, including care proceedings, pre-proceedings, and adoption
*Provide clear, timely, and practical legal advice to Children’s Services and senior managers
*Represent the authority in court proceedings, case conferences, and hearings
*Draft legal documents, applications, and reports to a high professional standard
*Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and guidance
*Work collaboratively with social workers, guardians, barristers, and other professionals
*Contribute to service development and continuous legal and service improvement
