Benfleet | £40,000–£50,000 DOE | Full-time | Office-based
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to join a busy, supportive practice. This role is ideal for someone confident handling year-end work and a wide range of accounting tasks.
The Role:
You will take ownership of key accounting duties and support a varied client portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
*Year-end accounts preparation, including Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss
*Tax computations
*P11D’s
*Payroll processing
*CIS returns
*Working across multiple accounting software packages: Xero, QuickBooks, Sage
*Supporting clients and resolving queries in a timely manner
About You:
You’ll bring strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
You must have:
*Comprehensive accounting background
*Experience preparing year-end accounts
*Payroll and CIS knowledge
*Proficiency with Xero, QuickBooks and Sage
*Previous experience of working within an accountancy practice
You will be:
*QBE or Fully Qualified
*A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail
*Preferably a car driver due to the office-based nature of the role
