An exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer (GCP) to join a fast-growing business in London is looking for a hands-on engineer to support and evolve their data platform.
*Based in London
*2 days a week in the office
*3 months initially
*Start date: ASAP
*Up to £375 per day Outside Ir35
The JobAs the Data Engineer (GCP), your responsibilities will include:
*Managing and optimising data pipelines and workflows within Google Cloud Platform
*Working extensively with BigQuery to process large-scale datasets
*Integrating and managing data from Google Analytics and Google Ad Manager
*Supporting reporting and dashboarding across the business (currently using Domo)
*Handling both BAU data operations and project-based delivery
*Contributing to rebuilding parts of the data stack and improving automation
*Supporting wider business teams including Finance and Ad Ops with data needs
*Driving efficiencies and improvements, including AI-driven processes
You*Strong hands-on experience with GCP, particularly BigQuery
*Proven ability to build and manage scalable data pipelines and data flows
*Experience working with Google Analytics and marketing/ad data sources
*Comfortable supporting reporting and dashboarding tools
*Able to work in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
*Strong prioritisation skills across BAU and project work
*Experience in media, publishing, or direct-to-consumer environments is highly beneficial
