Primary School located in central Preston area.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a well-established staff team and well-resourced KS2 department. Applicants must have experience of teaching the UK curriculum.
This Primary School consists of two classes per year group and boasts state of the art facilities to support exceptional teaching including carefully landscaped indoor and outdoor play areas.
The ideal candidate will have recent teaching experience and be comfortable and confident teaching across KS2.
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (with a minimum of 1 year teaching experience within a UK School within a KS2 classroom).
- Have a proven track record of planning and delivering high quality lessons for all areas of the curriculum whilst also recognising the importance of data analysis.
- The ability to inspire pupils and support staff through your passion and commitment to raising standards.
- Strong application of resources available including ICT to enhance children’s learning.
- Is confident creating an inclusive learning environment and somebody who is confident supporting pupils with EAL and SEN to enhance their learning opportunities.
- Has thorough and up to date knowledge of the range of teaching, and behaviour management strategies and how to implement them effectively to maximise attainment.

This school provides the National Curriculum to a diverse cohort, experience of differentiating for pupils with EAL and SEN is essential. Experience of planning for support staff is also essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
