Job Description:
Full job descriptionResidential Conveyancing Solicitor | 3+ PQE | Somerset | Hybrid Working | Competitive Salary (DOE)
A well-established and highly regarded law firm in Somerset is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive to join its growing property team. Known for its strong local reputation and high-quality work, this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking firm.
In this role, you will manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion. This will include handling a broad mix of transactions such as freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, new build transactions, and shared ownership/Help to Buy matters. You will be responsible for ensuring files progress efficiently, providing clear and practical advice to clients, and liaising with estate agents, lenders, and other key stakeholders throughout the process.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to business development initiatives and support the firm in maintaining and growing its strong client relationships. While you will be running your own files, you will be part of an experienced and collaborative team, offering support where needed.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with proven experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent client care and communication skills are essential. A proactive, professional approach and the ability to work well within a team are also key.
In return, the firm offers a competitive salary package (dependent on experience), flexible and hybrid working options, a friendly and supportive working environment, and genuine opportunities for long-term career progression.
