Our client is a well-established and growing professional services business based in Southend-on-Sea. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an organised and proactive Administrator to join their team on a part-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator looking for flexibility whilst working within a friendly and professional environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will provide administrative support across the business, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of operations. The role will suit someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their organisation skills, and can confidently manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Working closely with the wider team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, supporting client communications, coordinating documentation, and assisting with general office administration.
Key Responsibilities
*Providing day-to-day administrative support to the business
*Managing and maintaining company records and databases
*Preparing, formatting and issuing documents and correspondence
*Handling incoming telephone calls, emails and enquiries
*Scheduling meetings and managing diaries where required
*Maintaining accurate filing systems and records
*Supporting client onboarding and administration processes
*Assisting with data entry and ensuring information is kept up to date
*Liaising with clients and suppliers in a professional manner
*Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required
Skills & Experience
*Previous experience within an administrative, office support or coordinator position
*Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
*Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
*Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
*Professional and personable approach
*Self-motivated with the ability to work independently when required
*Experience within a professional services environment would be advantageous but is not essential
