Job Description:
Full job descriptionOrka Financial is currently partnering with an exciting business based in Slough who are looking for an experienced accounts assistant to join their team on a temporary basis.


Responsibilities
*Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
*Match purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes to ensure correct approvals
*Prepare and process weekly/monthly supplier payment runs (BACS/CHAPS)
*Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies
*Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments
*Allocate incoming receipts to customer accounts and maintain accurate records
*Investigate and resolve customer queries relating to invoices and payments
*Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
*Identify and investigate discrepancies in bank transactions.


Requirements
*Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
*Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
*Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
*Good understanding of basic accounting principles
*Strong excel skills.
