OverviewWe are seeking an ambitious and driven New Car Sales Manager to lead a successful dealership sales team in Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Automotive Sales Manager, Business Manager, or Transaction Manager looking to progress their career within a high-performing retail environment.
You will be responsible for driving new vehicle sales performance, maximising profitability, developing the sales team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. The role requires a hands-on leader who can inspire, coach, and motivate a team to consistently exceed targets.
The RoleAs New Car Sales Manager, you will:
*Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Sales Executives.
*Drive new vehicle sales performance, finance penetration, and ancillary product sales.
*Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity against agreed targets.
*Manage customer enquiries and ensure all leads are handled effectively.
*Support and coach the team through first and second-facing customer interactions.
*Maintain exceptional levels of customer satisfaction and brand standards.
*Manage vehicle stock levels, availability, and showroom presentation.
*Produce accurate sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis.
*Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations and dealership processes.
*Work closely with senior management to deliver departmental objectives and profitability targets.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will have:
*Previous experience as a Sales Manager, Business Manager, or Transaction Manager within a franchised dealership.
*A proven track record of delivering strong sales results and profitability.
*Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
*Excellent negotiation and customer relationship abilities.
*Commercial awareness with the ability to analyse performance data and implement improvement strategies.
*High levels of organisation and attention to detail.
*Full UK Driving Licence.
