This is a full-time position for the Autumn Term (September-December), with the possibility of the role continuing beyond Christmas for the right candidate. The school is looking for a confident Key Stage 2 practitioner who can quickly establish positive relationships and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
The Role*Full-time Year 5 Teacher position
*Teaching a well-behaved and engaged Year 5 class
*Full class teacher responsibilities, including planning, assessment and parent consultations
*Shared planning and collaboration with the parallel Year 5 teacher
*Delivering engaging and challenging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
*Monitoring pupil progress and ensuring strong outcomes for all learners
*Opportunity for the role to extend beyond the Autumn Term
The Successful Candidate Will Have*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2
*Strong curriculum knowledge and effective classroom management skills
*A positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*The ability to quickly integrate into an established school team
