Full job descriptionAn ideal opportunity for a 1st time mover from practice to join a collaborative Group Finance team where you’ll play a key role in delivering financial and regulatory reporting, working closely with senior stakeholders and gaining exposure to high-profile reporting activities.

Description
*Support the planning and delivery of quarterly financial reporting cycles, interim reporting and annual financial statements.
*Assist with group consolidation activities and the preparation of subsidiary statutory accounts.
*Prepare draft financial reporting outputs, board papers and supporting documentation.
*Act as a key contact for external auditors, coordinating information requests and supporting audit activities.
*Identify and implement opportunities to improve reporting processes, controls and efficiencies.
Profile
*Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA)
*Ideally a 1st time mover from practice where you have experience preparing and/or auditing statutory financial statements
*Understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and reporting processes within a regulated environment.
*Exposure to insurance, financial services or other regulated sectors would be advantageous.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
*Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.
*Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.

*Competitive salary ranging from £50,000 - £53,000
