Shift: Mornings & Afternoons
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum
Location: Rotherham

Responsibilities
*Oversee Tool Room activity to maintain a consistent supply of rolls to production.
*Plan workloads and coordinate operations to meet required deadlines.
*Produce and inspect rolls, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
*Create CAD drawings to support roll design and evaluation work.
*Improve and refine roll-manufacturing processes.
*Manage equipment use, raw materials, and consumables to support efficient output.
*Support roll supply to other group sites when required.
*Attend operational meetings and maintain compliance with safety procedures.
*Operate machinery, including Mazak CNC lathes, and carry out routine maintenance.
*Undertake additional duties aligned with operational needs.

Requirements*Strong background in toolmaking or precision engineering.
*Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship.
*Understanding of Health & Safety and environmental responsibilities.
*Hands-on, flexible approach with a strong team ethic.
*Practical problem-solver with a solutions-focused mindset.
*Confident enforcing standards and maintaining safe working practices.
*Clear communicator across different functions.
*Takes ownership and follows tasks through to completion.
