Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturer in Sheffield to recruit a Cast Finisher Operative.
As a Cast Finish Operative, you will:
*Carry out straightening, buffing, and grinding of parts to achieve required specifications
*Learn and apply different techniques to ensure the production of quality products
*Complete all associated paperwork accurately (production and timekeeping)
*Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and adhere to all Health & Safety procedures
*Support production targets by working as part of a team with a positive and flexible attitude
*Transfer to other areas of production as required to support business needs
You’ll be trained across a variety of specialist skills, including:
*Straightening:Use of hammers, presses, calipers, DTI’s and shadowgraph
*Mount Point Work:Use of grinding guns, linishing belts, cut-off machines and hand blasters
*Final Visual Inspection:Stamping, gauge checks, hardness checks, water tests and light testing
