Are you a passionate learning support assistant looking to make a real difference in Education?
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic learning support assistant to join a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Newham
Key Responsibilities:
As the new learning support assistant, you will be required (but not limited) to:
*Supporting pupils, to ensure they are engaged in learning activities
*Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all students within the classroom
*Act as a role model, setting high expectations of conduct and promoting positive pupil behaviour
*Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
*Deal with any immediate problems or emergencies according to the school’s policies and procedures about health & safety, welfare and wellbeing and safeguarding
*Provide additional support to the teachers in the classrooms
*Establish positive relationships with the pupils in lessons being covered
What We’re Looking For:
*An experienced learning support assistant with prior experience supporting secondary school students
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Patience, empathy, and adaptability
