Location: Eastleigh
Hours: Monday - Friday, 08.00am-17.00pm + overtime
Driver Hire Southampton are recruiting for a Warehouse Test Engineer to join an air conditioning company in Eastleigh. This role involves a mix of warehouse duties and technical tasks, including preparing equipment for dispatch, operating a counterbalance forklift, carrying out equipment testing, completing checks, and supporting basic mechanical adjustments.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on individual with warehouse, engineering, or technical experience looking for a varied role.
The Role:You will be responsible for preparing, testing, and dispatching specialist equipment while supporting day-to-day warehouse operations.
Duties Include:*Loading and unloading deliveries
*Operating a counterbalance forklift (licence required)
*Checking and organising stock
*Preparing equipment for dispatch
*Carrying out equipment testing and quality checks
*Completing paperwork and reporting results
*Supporting minor mechanical adjustments and repairs
*Assisting the wider service team when required
About You:*Previous warehouse or technical experience preferred
*Valid counterbalance forklift licence essential
*Practical and mechanically minded
*Reliable with good attention to detail
*Able to work well independently and within a team
