Are you an experienced Finance professional available to start immediately and looking for your next challenge?
We are working with a highly successful and rapidly growing business based in the heart of Cardiff to recruit a Financial Accountant on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. Due to continued growth and an increased workload, this is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced organisation where you can make an immediate impact.
There is strong potential for the contract to be extended, making this an ideal opportunity for an ambitious part-qualified or qualified accountant seeking exposure to a dynamic and evolving business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs

*Delivering accurate financial analysis and insight to support decision-making

*Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting processes

*Managing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring robust financial controls

*Partnering with key stakeholders across the business to provide financial support and challenge

*Assisting with audit preparation and statutory reporting requirements

*Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency

*Supporting ongoing projects linked to business growth and transformation

About You:
*Part-qualified or qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA

*Previous experience within a Financial Accountant, Management Accountant or similar finance role

*Strong financial reporting and analytical skills

*Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering capabilities

*Ability to work independently and hit the ground running

*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

*Available to start immediately or at short notice
