Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Early Years professional ready to take the next step in your career? We are working with a well-established, high-quality private nursery group in Central London that is looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Pre-School Room Leader.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking setting that is about to relocate to a state-of-the-art nursery in Shoreditch, offering a fantastic working environment and opportunities for career progression.
About the Role
As a Pre-School Room Leader, you will take full responsibility for leading and managing a busy pre-school room, ensuring the highest standards of care, learning, anddevelopment for children aged 3-5 years.
You will play a key role in shaping the curriculum, mentoring staff, and creating an engaging and stimulating environment that supports every child’s individual development.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead, motivate and support a team of practitioners within the pre-school room
*Plan and deliver a creative, play-based curriculum in line with the EYFS framework
*Monitor children’s learning and development, ensuring accurate observations and assessments
*Build strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular feedback and updates
*Ensure the room meets all safeguarding, health & safety, and Ofsted requirements
*Contribute to the overall ethos and continuous improvement of the nursery
Requirements
*Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or above)
*Proven experience working within a nursery setting, ideally in a senior or room leader capacity
*Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development
*Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
*A genuine passion for early childhood education and delivering high-quality care
