We’re delighted to be working exclusively with one of our longstanding clients to recruit a Payroll Team Leader for their Leicester-based team.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring payroll processes are delivered accurately and efficiently, while providing guidance and support to a team of payroll professionals.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the delivery of payroll processes across the organisation
• Provide day-to-day guidance and support to payroll team members
• Ensure compliance with current payroll legislation and internal procedures
• Process payroll-related payments, deductions and adjustments accurately
• Support pension administration activities
• Assist with payroll reporting and audit requirements
• Resolve payroll queries and provide a high level of internal customer service
• Support system updates, testing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Contribute to year-end payroll activities
About You
• Previous payroll experience within a busy payroll environment
• Supervisory or team leadership experience
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation and processes
• Experience using payroll systems
• Good Excel and reporting skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive and collaborative approach
