Full job descriptionWe are recruiting for a part-time Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join the ARMS department from September. This role offers flexibility while still providing the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a highly supportive team.
You will work closely with pupils who require additional support to access learning and develop key skills, helping to create a positive and nurturing environment where all children can thrive.
The school has a strong "family school" ethos, where the whole child is at the centre of every decision. Staff are dedicated to creating a calm, caring and inclusive environment where children feel safe, valued and able to achieve their full potential. With extensive grounds, a recently refurbished building, and a strong focus on wellbeing and involvement, this is a fantastic place to develop your career in education.
Key Responsibilities:
*Support pupils with learning activities in class and in small groups
*Assist with emotional regulation and wellbeing support
*Work alongside teaching staff to implement tailored strategies
*Promote independence, confidence, and engagement in learning
*Contribute to a safe, calm and inclusive classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
*Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience considered)
*Have a caring, patient and flexible approach
*Be able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
*Be reliable and committed to supporting children with additional needs
*Enjoy working as part of a collaborative and supportive team
