About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil in a welcoming primary school in the BL4 area of Bolton.
This role is ideal for a compassionate and proactive individual who is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them access learning and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide 1:1 support tailored to the pupil’s individual needs
*Assist with the implementation of EHCP targets and personalised learning strategies
*Support the child’s emotional, social, and behavioural development
*Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals
*Adapt classroom activities to ensure full inclusion
*Track and report on pupil progress
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
*A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
*Previous experience supporting children with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or speech & language needs)
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*A calm, patient, and resilient approach
*Confidence in managing challenging behaviour where required
*A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
