Full job descriptionTeaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist outreach team supporting children and young people who are not currently accessing mainstream education.
This is a highly rewarding role working 1:1 and in small groups, supporting learners in their homes, community settings, and alternative provisions to help them re-engage with education and build confidence.
The Role:*Full-time, long-term opportunity
*Outreach-based SEN support (not classroom based)
*Working with children with SEMH, ASD, and complex needs
*Delivering tailored learning and intervention sessions
*Supporting engagement, emotional regulation, and routine building
Working Hours:*Monday – Friday
*8:30am – 3:30pm
*Term time only
Essential Requirements:*Must hold a full UK driving licence
*Must be willing to travel across Plymouth and surrounding areas
*Ability to obtain business insurance for travel with learners
*Confident working independently in community and home-based settings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
