Join a Friendly, Growing Accountancy PracticeWe’re looking for an experienced Semi-Senior Accountant to join our expanding team in Leigh-on-Sea. If you have at least two years’ experience working within an accountancy practice and are looking to progress your career in a supportive and professional environment, we’d love to hear from you.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a varied client portfolio while developing your technical skills and taking on increasing responsibility.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Semi-Senior Accountant, you’ll be involved in a wide range of accounting duties, including:
*Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger
*Nominal Ledger reconciliations
*Payroll processing
*CIS Returns
*Assisting Senior Accountants with client accounts and general practice work
*Supporting a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors
About YouTo be successful in this role, you’ll have:
Essential*At least 2 years’ experience working within an accountancy practice
*Good working knowledge of Sage, Xero, QuickBooks and other cloud accounting software
*Experience with Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Payroll and CIS Returns
*Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
*Strong communication skills and the ability to manage your workload effectively
Desirable*AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified, qualified, or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
*Experience working with a varied client portfolio
