Our market-leading clients are now looking to recruit a Mechanical Fitter on a permanent basis.
The Job you’ll do
*Repair & Install: Refurbish, assemble, and install heat exchangers according to engineering drawings and specifications.
*Inspect & Test: Conduct technical assessments, create sketches for quotations, and perform pressure testing to ensure industry compliance.
*Troubleshoot: Identify mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs or component replacements.
*Safety & Quality: Adhere strictly to HSE protocols, maintain accurate service records, and ensure equipment is kept in top condition.
*Collaborate: Work with engineers and project managers to execute projects efficiently and contribute to process improvements.
About You
*Enthusiastic, conscientious, results orientated, self-motivated with a ’can do’ attitude.
*Developing strong working relationships with the team and customers
*Good communicator to all levels in and outside of the business
*Ability to work well under pressure in a demanding environment.
*Good planning and organisational skills
*Willingness to learn and apply the Unipart Way principles and tools, including OCCs.
